This is not a legal document. It is a description of what the site actually does — every sentence here can be checked against the repository, which is open.
No accounts, no database
There is no sign-in here, no passwords, and no database. There is nowhere your name or your email could be stored, because you never give them.
What stays in your browser alone
The articles you mark as read, your language, light or dark mode, and your choice on this page are all kept in your own browser and sent to no server. Clearing site data in your browser erases all of it.
Connecting LinkedIn
If you choose to connect LinkedIn in order to post an article, the access token is kept in an encrypted cookie in your browser alone. Nothing is stored on our side: no database, and no record of what you posted. The "disconnect" button erases the cookie.
Outbound links
The site links out to sources such as regulators’ websites. The moment you follow one you are on a site we do not control, with its own policy.
